Choose an activityBALANCE
A digital experience can open a conversation, introduce a rule, or offer a challenge. It becomes more valuable when a child has time to explain, compare, and apply the idea away from the screen.
The right duration varies with age, context, and the individual child. Useful signals include sleep quality, interest in other activities, mood after play, and how easily the session can end.
LEARNING
Instead of immediately providing a solution, ask what the child notices, which option they would try, and how they might check the result. This makes the process visible and gives the child language for their own strategy.
Mistakes can be treated as information. If a choice does not work, look together at what changed and what could be tried next time.
